Porto was born in 1984 in Pernambuco, Brazil . At 15 she began participating in beauty pageants and won more than one title. At 17 she moved to the United States and five months after she was named Miss Brazil in an American held pageant.
Her measurements her 34-24-35 in (86-58-89 cm) and she is 5 ft 10 in (1.78 m) tall. Her dress size is (US) 4 and her shoe size is (US) 10 with brown eyes and brown hair.
